In 1994, P.I.P Fire & Security Systems was established by Jack Lyness, beginning from humble surroundings out of a garage. What started as a small family-run business was built on a simple commitment to providing reliable service, quality workmanship and a personal approach to customers. As the business grew, Jack was later joined by his three sons, John, Alan and Paul Lyness, bringing the next generation into the company. Each of the three brothers brought their own unique expertise, experience and strengths to the business, complementing one another and helping P.I.P develop across different areas of the industry. Their combined knowledge and commitment strengthened the foundations of the family business and played an important role in shaping the company it is today. Over the years, P.I.P expanded its services alongside the changing needs of its customers and the rapid development of the fire, security and electrical industries. What began as a small operation grew into an established provider, offering a comprehensive range of fire, security, electrical and property protection solutions. As technology evolved, so did P.I.P. From the systems and equipment available in the early years to the advanced solutions we provide today, the company has continued to adapt and invest while remaining true to the principles on which it was founded — reliability, quality workmanship and personal service. Today, more than 30 years after those early beginnings, P.I.P Fire & Security Systems provides a comprehensive range of services to domestic, commercial and industrial customers across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. With the second generation now playing an integral role in the business, the family values established by Jack in 1994 continue to influence how we work and how we look after our customers.
