Terms & Conditions

1. About These Terms

These Terms & Conditions apply to the use of the PIP Fire & Security Systems website and to services provided by PIP Fire & Security Systems ("PIP", "we", "us" or "our").

By using this website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Website Information

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that the information on this website is accurate and up to date. However, information is provided for general guidance and may be changed or updated without notice.

We do not guarantee that the website will always be available, error-free or free from viruses or other harmful material.

3. Enquiries and Quotations

Submitting an enquiry or quotation request through our website does not create a contract between you and PIP.

Any quotation provided by PIP is subject to the information available at the time and may be subject to a site survey or further assessment. Quotations are valid for the period stated on the quotation and may be withdrawn or amended where circumstances or requirements change.

A contract for services will only be formed once the quotation or proposed works have been accepted in accordance with our agreed terms.

4. Services

PIP provides fire, security, electrical and property protection services, including installation, servicing, maintenance, inspections and testing.

The exact services provided will depend on the requirements agreed with the customer and may be subject to applicable standards, regulations and manufacturer requirements.

5. Payment

Customers are responsible for paying invoices within the payment terms stated on the relevant invoice or agreement.

Additional work, materials or services not included within an agreed quotation may be charged separately where agreed or reasonably required to complete the works.

6. Access to Premises

Customers must provide PIP with reasonable access to the relevant premises where required to carry out surveys, installations, inspections, maintenance or repairs.

Delays caused by a lack of access or unsuitable site conditions may result in additional charges or changes to agreed timescales.

7. Equipment and Materials

Equipment and materials supplied by PIP remain subject to the relevant manufacturer's specifications, warranties and limitations.

Where products are supplied by third-party manufacturers, PIP cannot be responsible for defects or failures outside of PIP's reasonable control, although we will assist customers where appropriate in dealing with the relevant manufacturer.

8. Warranties and Guarantees

Where applicable, PIP will provide warranties or guarantees in accordance with the terms stated in the relevant quotation, agreement or manufacturer's warranty.

Warranties may not cover damage caused by misuse, accidental damage, unauthorised modifications, neglect or circumstances outside PIP's reasonable control.

9. Liability

PIP will carry out services with reasonable care and skill. However, we cannot guarantee that any security, fire or other protective system will prevent every loss, incident, fire, theft or other event.

Customers remain responsible for taking appropriate precautions and complying with their own legal, insurance and safety obligations.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, graphics and branding, belongs to PIP or is used with permission.

You may not reproduce, copy, modify or distribute website content without our prior written permission.

11. Third-Party Websites

This website may contain links to third-party websites. PIP is not responsible for the content, security or privacy practices of external websites.

12. Privacy

Personal information submitted through this website will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection legislation.

13. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Northern Ireland. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms & Conditions shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Northern Ireland, where applicable.

14. Changes to These Terms

PIP reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Any updated version will be published on this website.
